This weekend we hit the dirt roads of Alabama with new and old friends. We spent a full day wondering trails and traversing some crazy terrain. I'm not going to lie and say it was all peaches. I definitely got pretty scared a time or twelve, but I was with an excellent group of (basically professional) 4-wheelers (one being my husband). We did have a large group and a paramedic with us, so I felt pretty safe even with the seriously steep mountains. It was a full day of mud sling fun and beautiful views. I also wanted to say that I start my new job with Lockheed Martin on September 12th. I can't wait to finally get there and get to work. It's been a long process with all of the background checking and pre work requirements. Once I start I'm not sure when or how often I'll be able to blog, but I'll try and keep up. Happy Monday Everyone...I'm sure I might soon realize once I start working again, that there is no such thing as Happy Monday, but for now there is!!
